I am a Software Engineer at the Big Data Department at the Philips Innovation Campus. I have been very interested in developing Big Data Autonomous Systems in college, and I'm working on such advanced systems at Philips Healthcare. I believe strongly in the power of Big Data, because large amounts of factual data only speak the truth.

My specific interests lie in using Machine Learning to large datasets to create autonomous systems. I envision the future will comprise of such systems that eliminate everyday repetitive tasks, giving room to the human brain to think on more creative problems. I want to be at the forefront when such systems materialize in the immediate future.

Personally, I am a Formula One enthusiast, a professional Badminton player, an avid Writer and a keen Orator.

A complete Store Management System was developed with a sports store as a customer base. The backend was implemented by using MySQL as a database with server side scripting by PHP. The user interface was created using HTML and CSS. A transaction management solution was developed through a web interface

Software Engineer (June 2016 - Present)

Working in the Big Data Department. Worked on increasing data ingestion capabilities using Akka HTTP and Akka Streams and developing high performance micro services. Wrote ETLs on Java and Scala. Developed data processing applications on the Spring Framework, and analytics scripts that run on Spark. Also worked on performance optimizations on Spark.

Worked in the Big Data Department, employing Transparent Data Encryption on HDFS. Also evaluated various data formats for optimal performance on Hive. Developed scripts that access Hive partitions as an impersonated Spark user.
